Welcome to the PCC 50th Anniversary Planning Committee blog!
One of the exciting things about this event is that it’s not just about PCC – it’s about the whole community. From workforce training and high school completion to transfer degrees and business development, PCC touches more lives than any other educational institution in Oregon.
That’s why we’re starting a year in advance – engaging faculty, staff, alumni and community members – to find out what PCC means to you.
This site will give you the chance to take part in the planning process: share your PCC story on the interactive map, submit an idea to the committee, vote on a top idea or send us feedback directly.
On this blog, planning committee members give you updates and introduce topics of consideration so you can offer your thoughts.
We’ll also throw in PCC stories here and there from special guest writers, (but only if they’re good, we promise)!
Check back soon for the next post on strategic goals for PCC’s 50th anniversary celebration.

It’s nice that commenting is available.

We need to have a BIG homecoming! We need to bring together everyone who has been touched by PCC-whether through a class, a term, or degree.
